Here is a repository of concept and visual development art for a range of projects, personal or otherwise.
The concept stage is really exciting; all sorts of novel things to cultivate with the client or collaborators, finding the right combination of ideas and potential, then building everything up. In the same fashion TTRPG designers carve meaning and mechanics from the abstract, so too do illustrators and scribblers. As a hard-surface tragic, figuring out a logic to build into even the most fantastical of concepts is half the adventure.
Possibility within the impossible.
Concept designs for Asa Donald/Backwards Tabletop's Rust Never Sleeps, an anarchist mecha TTRPG. The idea was for a utilitarian vehicle that could be easily 'punked up' to fight the system.
Designs for an ongoing personal solarpunk project, set in a near-future Lutruwita that features a premium on sustainable technology.
Two of three game asset model designs for a top-down shooter video game, where the job required simple parts and construction.
Some visual development for the Argo-0 TTRPG project, featuring a space pirate and vehicle design.
A cover development for the TTRPG God Obliterating Vajra, featuring an androgynous demigod looming over an archipelago of fantastical South East Asian milieu of spiritual beings and celestial warriors.
Some of the development sketches for Argo-0, figuring out the idea of the game's weapon and player armour systems.
